Membrane boxes: reinvent the protection of your small parts
All companies working with small parts or small objects have the same challenge: how to transport and store these objects securely? Without dust, scratches or impact?
It is to meet this need that at Inca Plastic SA, we have developed the membrane box, a revolutionary technological innovation unique in the world. With a distribution network spanning Japan, the Netherlands and the United States, our company is the first and only to manufacture these patented membrane boxes.

What is a membrane box?
A membrane box is an innovative packaging solution that combines the transparency of a box with a special membrane. This membrane is designed to wrap and protect fragile objects, while allowing them to be viewed perfectly. The real magic lies in the way the elastic membrane adapts perfectly to the object it contains, offering unrivalled protection while immobilizing the object to avoid any risk of scratches or impact.
Perfectly immobilized between two elastic membranes, your parts are protected, suspended in their box, while remaining visible from all angles.
What's a membrane box for?
Membrane boxes are versatile and can be used in a variety of areas. First and foremost, they enable you to store and transport your items in complete safety. This could be a finished item, such as jewelry, or a part destined to integrate a larger assembly.
Inca Plastic SA's elastic membrane boxes protect your parts not only from impact, but also from dust and moisture. Their transparency also prevents the box from being opened, thus preserving the contents.
Here are just a few of the areas where membrane boxes have already proved their worth:

Watchmaking boxes
It's impossible to talk about small parts and fragile components without thinking of the watchmaking industry. Membrane cases protect every part of the watch before final assembly, eliminating the risk of scratches or impact.
Jewelry boxes
Precious jewels are showcased while remaining safe in these transparent boxes, with no risk of scratches or knocks.
Medical boxes
Membrane boxes provide effective protection for medical parts during transport or storage. Medical staff and patients alike can observe the object without removing it from its protective container.
Archaeology boxes
Archaeological finds are often fragile and can be damaged during transport or display. Elastic membrane boxes guarantee their integrity, allowing them to be viewed from every angle without being touched.

How is a membrane box made?
The manufacture of membrane boxes is a complex process based on patented technology.
Making the box
At Inca SA Plastics, we use our own molds to create our membrane boxes. We use injection molding with solid materials to guarantee the reliability of our cans.
Laying the membrane
The difficulty with membrane boxes lies not in the creation inside the box, but in the precise laying of the elastic membrane. To this day, installation is still done by hand in our workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. All the boxes that will be sent to the four corners of the world are made in this workshop, where our know-how is rooted. Indeed, it takes years to learn how to lay a membrane, a skill that can only be taught by our team of experienced fitters.
This step ensures a perfect fit of the membrane and thus the reliability of our boxes.
Where can I buy a membrane box?
You can order our membrane boxes directly in Switzerland or from our international distributors in Japan, the Netherlands and the USA.
In conclusion, membrane boxes are much more than just transparent containers. They represent a technological innovation that offers exceptional protection while showcasing your fragile objects. These boxes are the perfect answer to the storage, transport and presentation problems encountered in many fields.
